2027 AMFS Show

The Atlanta Military Figure Society is proud to announce the 2027 Atlanta Model Figure Show. On February 19, 20, 21, 2027, the AMFS, in conjunction with Atlanta AMPS, will host figure painters and armor builders from across the country and the world.
You are cordially invited to join us at the Atlanta Hilton/Marietta Conference Center for days of shopping at the many vendor tables, viewing the amazing displays of miniature art, and attending educational seminars designed to assist everyone in improving their individual efforts.
As in years past we will utilize the beautiful Atlanta Hilton/Marietta Conference Center. Located at
500 Powder Springs St Marietta, Georgia 30064 USA
The Center is just a hop, skip and jump from the Marietta Square, home of many and varied dining establishments.
For the length of the AMFS event, the Center is offering a show room rate of $162 per night. This is in effect from Wednesday night, February 17 through Saturday, the 19 of February.
The Center has established a cut off date for this rate, and reservations must be made prior to January 31, 2027. Reservations may be made online by using the link below;

THURSDAY FEB. 18 TH
8am – 5pm: Jim Rice painting workshop, more information soon
FRIDAY FEB. 19 TH
8AM – 5PM: Jim Rice workshop continues.
2PM – Show opens (please note new start time) Vendor room open for business show registration and general admission begin.
7PM – Judges meeting (location TBD)
9PM – Show closes for the night.
SATURDAY FEB. 20 TH
9AM – Show opens
9AM – Silent auction begins.
10AM – Seminar -Information coming soon
11AM - show registration closes for judging competition. General Admission still open.
2:30-3:30PM Seminar -Information coming soon
5-6PM - Silent Auction ends. Each piece will be removed from the auction individually at the Auctioneer’s discretion.
9PM-show closes for the night
SUNDAY FEB. 21 ST
9AM - Vendor Room open
11AM – Awards Ceremony
12 Noon - Show Closes. All show participants must have their entries collected by 12:30PM Sunday.

Show Notes
The Atlanta Model Figure is a family friendly show and as such we respectfully request that all entries should reflect good taste and appropriateness for all ages of viewers. Any displays or entries which do not meet these simple requirements are subject to removal from the exhibit areas. Additionally, the Show Committee reserves the right to disallow any entries which it deems not appropriate or distasteful
While we encourage photographers to snap away to their heart’s content, for safety to all, and convenience to others we request that your camera usage be limited to handheld without tri-or mono pods.
All displays in the exhibit hall are limited to a size of 30″ x 36″. Any entries exceeding this size MUST BE APPROVED IN ADVANCE by the SHOW CHAIRMAN.
Silent Auction
The 2027 Show will again feature a silent auction of painted figures.
Contributing artists will range from widely acknowledged Grand Masters to accomplished, but not necessarily” recognized” painters.
The auction will open at 9:00 AM on Saturday of the Show and each figure will be closed out, individually, at the Auctioneer’s discretion between 5:00 and 6:00 on Saturday afternoon.
Winners must be present to claim their figure(s) or have someone who will do so in their stead. (The AMFS will not be responsible for delivery or shipment.)
